Keith Walker – Managing Director
With over 20 year’s experience in the industry, Keith joined W.Heron (Durham) Ltd in 1998, a business turning over circa £350,000 annually. His role at that time was assistant to the General Manager, covering all aspects of the business, including material distribution, estimating, valuations etc. 2000 saw the acquisition of Bartram Electrical Contractors, based in Washington. Keith’s desire to further himself bore fruition in July 2000, when the opportunity arose to head up the plumbing arm of the business, turning over £3.5m per annum.


Michael Walker - Procurement/Contracts Engineer
Michael joined Bartram Walker in November 2003 working as site support, delivering materials and learning the basics of the business. In January 2004 he was offered the position as Trainee Supervisor and in September 2004 he joined the site team working with Gateshead Housing ensuring the smooth running of day to day site issues.

Due to an increase in workload, a position arose in the business as a Company Buyer. Upon successful application, Michael was brought onboard and quickly became closely involved in teh commercial and procurement arm of the business apart of the newly structured management team.


Steve McEvoy – Contracts Manager
With nearly 40 year’s experience in the industry, Steve completed his apprenticeship and gained knowledge on new build, refurbishment and commercial plumbing both on a regional and a national scale. Prior to joining Bartram Walker in 2009, Steve’s previous role was as a Construction Director for a large plumbing contractor overseeing circa 100+ operatives.

Steve has brought to the business experience, understanding and knowledge on all aspects of the plumbing industry.
